Isabel’s first love has always been visual arts. She studied visual arts at York University. She has been practicing plein air painting and travels to various places of inspiration: eastern townships of Quebec, Maine, New York. This past year she completed two art residencies, one at Gilbraltor Point Art Scape, on Toronto Island and an art residency in Italy. As a Toronto city dweller living in a highly dense urban landscape, her thirst for finding forms of greenery and nature has informed her art practice.
